Circular No 101

Newsletter for past alumni of The Abbey School, Mt. St. Benedict, Trinidad and Tobago, W.I.
Caracas, 11 of October 2003. Circular No. 101
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Friends,

You may have asked, what about a resume of the EVENT?
Sorry friends, no resume is available as of today. Close to two months has passed and there is no resume from the organizer committee.
No list is available to indicate the names of those that paid the requested advance payment for the EVENT; or a final names list in case there was a balance sheet, I hope the event did not produce loss.
I have mentioned the above as it should be interesting to know the final results, for use in next year´s event.
There are no official photos available other than those sent by Don Mitchell and Salvador Coscarart and Micheal D´ornellas.
This I had to write because some of you might be expecting a recount, to find out if your friends assisted, etc. But I cannot send out something that I do not have or have received.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Thus the circulars are going back to the old format. Until I get information from TT or from Miguel Gonzalez the head organizer.

Dear Ladislao,
This is just a very brief note to let you know that I could not have attended the reunion because I was on my way to Hamburg, Germany, where I am currently sitting as one of the judges of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS). I was elected to this Tribunal on 2 September 2003 at the United Nations in New York.
If you wish you can find information about ITLOS on the web at www.itlos.org
Sincerely,
Anthony Lucky.

Dear Ladislao,
I have said this before and I write it once more "you have done and continue to do an excellent job”. I cannot allow the year to pass before wishing you and your family best wishes for the season and a very happy and prosperous new year.
Next year, in February, the Country will be electing a new President. It may seem unbelievable but the name of a past student of the Abbey school is among those mentioned as one of the possibles. We pray that the new President will possess the spiritual and moral values, honesty and integrity.
Sincerely,
Anthony Lucky.

In response to Urbano´s Fedak recently found letter in my last issue, here is the reply of the outcome of the football game by Isaias Farcheg

That game, of course was won by us...only watch who was the Centre Foward...that day I recall, like if it was yesterday, I scored 3 goals, and the 4th goal was a pass I made to Terry Viera, who did a last minute dribble and scored the 4th Goal.
I was made a hero that day. And I have ever since recalled the game in my memories like if I had preceded Pele for many years. Later on I came to know that Pele was born on the 17th of October 1940 and I was born on the 15th of October of the same year. That implies that I was already scoring goals before Pele was made known to the world, and I had to be made known to the Medical Profession.
You all are lucky guys, because if I had become famous as Pele was, I would have bothered with any one of you all, and all of you, would have to be jalando bola, for me to pay attention to you all.
Now you all know the end of the last game.
And thanks God that> did well at goal keeping.
By the way now you all know why I am able to sleep with a smile every night, because I sleep remembering how good I was as a Center Foward.
Greetings
Isaias.

(Any comments Terry? Ed.)

God Bless
